The 2019 Getaway Classic takes place April 12-14 at Talking Stick Resort with a different tournament taking place on each day. Players who register for all three will only have to put up $800 in buy-ins for three events with an estimated $116,000 in prize pools over the entire three-day series.
On Friday, April 12, there is a $200 no-limit hold’em event, there is a $300 no-limit hold’em on Saturday, and a $300 no-limit hold’em bounty event on Sunday. All three tournaments get cards in the air at 11:15 a.m. Bounties for Sunday’s event are worth $100 each.

Talking Stick is estimating a $32,000 prize pool for Friday, a $52,000 prize pool on Saturday, and another $32,000 prize pool on Sunday. They are expecting between 250-300 entries for each event.
For all three events, players will start with 13,000 in tournament chips and there are unlimited re-entries until the start of the fourth level of the day, which coincides with the first break.
Registration for the series started on March 23. Players who register at the Talking Stick Resort Box Office may purchase their buy-ins with a credit card if they are signing up for all three tournaments, or pay cash in the Arena Poker Room.
